Architect and designer Marcel Breuer created the Cesca chair the late 1920s. The bent-tubular steel design, which came as a side chair and arm chair, was named for his daughter, Francesca.
This pair was manufactured by Thonet and is signed. Chairs are notably heavier and sturdier than Cesca reproductions.
Very good vintage condition with some marks and scuffs commensurate with age.
