SMS is an artist-run gallery and project space located inside Steppe.
SMS offers diverse programming that gives opportunities to artists of all mediums, as well as curators, arts organizations, and the broader arts community.

SMS is open on Saturdays from 11-6 pm and by appointment unless otherwise stated on its Instagram.

Brian Sharrock: The Night Shift

Brian Sharrock (b. 1988, Columbus, OH) is a visual artist based in New York. Working primarily in embroidery, he creates paintings that draw on the visual language of symbols and emblems, shifting between representation and abstraction. His work has been featured in solo and two-person exhibitions at No Place Gallery (Columbus, OH), Los Ojos (Brooklyn, NY), and Dutton (New York, NY), as well as in numerous group exhibitions throughout the United States and internationally.
